Stretch of the Month | Chin Tuck Stretch

This is a gentle stretch that can provide relief from pain caused by tightness in the muscles of the neck and upper back. It’s a great stretch to do just after you wake up or during your breaks at work – it will help minimise muscle tightness and lower the risk of experiencing tension headaches.

 

  1. Use one hand to gently push your head forward and use your other hand to guide your chin towards your chest until you begin to feel a stretch in the muscles at the back of your neck.
  2. Stay in this position for approximately 30 seconds and repeat the stretch a number of times.
