Chiropractors are allied health-care professionals who focus on the diagnosis and treatment of neuromusculoskeletal (nerves, muscles, joints) disorders. Some of the most common reasons people come to see us are for:
- Neck or back pain
- Headaches or migraines
- Joint pain (hips, shoulders, knees etc)
- Arthritis
- Postural issues
- Sciatica/nerve impingement
- Sports injuries/improving performance
- General neuromusculoskeletal dysfunction

We use a range of hands-on techniques to improve mobility, alleviate pain and enhance the body’s overall function. We treat the whole body, not just the spine. We believe a holistic approach to health is very important and will strive to get to the root of the cause through natural, non-invasive methods. Some of the most common techniques we use include:
- Chiropractic manipulation/adjustments
- Joint mobilisation
- Soft tissue release/stretching
- Dry needling
- Rehabilitation exercises
- Lifestyle advice
Our chiropractors have undergone a 5 year university degree and many hours of post graduate study in our respective areas of special interests. These areas of special interest include paediatrics, family care and sports injury and management. Please see our individual profiles under ‘Our Chiropractor’ for further information.
What to Expect During a Chiropractic Visit
During your initial consultation, we will discuss the reason for your visit, take a thorough history and perform a physical examination. We will go through any results you have and refer you for any other that may be required. Based on the information we have obtained, we will discuss your diagnosis and plan for treatment. Together, we will come up with a plan that works for each individual, based on your goals.
