OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Hands-on soft tissue therapy to relieve pain, restore function, and support everyday wellbeing.

Our Occupational Therapy services at Langer Health are focused on soft tissue rehabilitation, helping you recover from pain, release tension, and improve movement in a safe and sustainable way.

We use a range of hands-on techniques, including myopractic and myofascial release, to support muscle balance, correct movement patterns, and reduce the physical impact of postural stress, workplace overuse, and chronic conditions.

Because your muscles and nervous system work closely together, our treatments also help restore healthy nerve communication, improving your body’s ability to move, respond, and self-regulate.

With a strong focus on holistic care, we explore the connection between your physical and emotional wellbeing, offering tools such as mindfulness, ergonomic advice, and personalised home programs.

Whether you’re managing long-term pain, returning from injury, or simply want to feel more in control of your body, our Occupational Therapists are here to help.

Conditions We Support

Soft tissue occupational therapy can assist with a wide range of conditions, including:

  • Neck pain and stiffness

  • Upper, middle and lower back pain

  • Tension headaches or migraines

  • Repetitive strain injuries (RSI)

  • Workplace overuse injuries

  • Postural dysfunction

  • Chronic muscular tightness or fatigue

  • Arthritis and general stiffness

  • Stress-related muscle tension

  • Dance or performance-related pain

We also work with clients proactively to prevent further injury or discomfort.

How OT Can Help

Occupational Therapy in a soft tissue setting focuses on identifying and treating the underlying causes of musculoskeletal discomfort, not just the symptoms. Our therapists take the time to understand your history, daily routines, and goals, so treatment is tailored to what matters most to you.

Through a combination of manual therapy, movement retraining, and lifestyle strategies, OT can help:
